Policy Officer – Team Leader, Skills for the Digital and Green transitions

I have worked as a policy officer in DG Employment since 2014. Within the unit for Vocational Education and Training, I mainly work on Digital Skills, both in the context of the Skills Agenda and the link to other key European Commission initiatives, such as the Digital Education Action plan, the Digital Competence Framework and related frameworks, Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition and the Digital Europe Programme. It also includes working to support qualitative and effective digitalisation of VET provision and provision of digital skills in VET and increasingly on the impact and opportunities of AI on VET. Within my team, I am also working with colleagues on skills for the Green Transition.

I have also been working on Skills intelligence, including on how to build on work using big data done by CEDEFOP, the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training, and strengthening and disseminating skills intelligence to relevant stakeholders.

The tasks above have also involved cooperating with other EU agencies and international organisations such as ETF, OECD, ILO, UNESCO etc.
